New research states that 1 out of every 4 men over the age of 30 have low testosterone levels. The New England Research Institute analyzed data from 1,500 men between the age of 30 and 79. Out of the men tested, about 24% of men had low total testosterone and 11% had low levels of free testosterone.

Many of the men had no symptoms related to their low testosterone. Testosterone levels lowering is a natural process as men age. Based on research, it is predicted that by 2025 there may be as many as 6.5 million American men between 30 and 79 years of age with symptomatic androgen deficiency (Low Testosterone).
